Marsala: here is the color of 2015 according to Pantone

The color of 2015 will be Marsala. This was stated by Pantone, the company providing standard colors for design and fashion, which had already presented a report on trendy colors in 2015.

This particular shade of red, reminiscent of the fortified wine from which it takes its name, and the earth, is a warm shade, "which enriches our mind and soul, giving security and stability", declares Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.

A decisive change from the color of 2014, that lively Radiant Orchid, "made to stimulate creativity and innovation", always in the words of Eiseman. Marsala is a refined color, "which embodies the pleasure of a satisfying, refined and warm meal, and which immediately adapts to the proposals of fashion, design and beauty", continues the director.
