The Armani Hotel Milan opens
After the hotel in Dubai, located inside the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, the "Armani Hotel Milano was also inaugurated, located in the beating heart of the city, to be precise in via Manzoni 31, that is above the designer's megastore.
The building, originally designed by Enrico A. Griffini in 1937, is characterized by a rational style and powerful and austere lines. Giorgio Armani brought his touch inside and explains: "I focused on what I wanted to offer following my personal vision of aesthetics and a precise idea of comfort ". The designer emphasizes that "this hotel is an act of" love for Milan, where I invest because it is my city. It is not just a hotel to make money, but a way to approach the world of luxury that gives prestige to the Lombard capital ".
The Armani Hotel Milano is made up of 95 rooms and suites, which offer different solutions: ranging from the Armani Deluxe, with a width of up to 45 square meters, to the Armani Signature and Armani Presidential suites, whose sizes vary from 170 to 200 square meters, articulated at double height with a magnificent staircase with a strong architectural impact.
All the furnishings, of course, are inspired by the Armani / Casa collections made specifically for the hotel in various precious finishes that reflect the palace's period atmosphere: from the linear sofas covered with refined fabrics, to the backlit wooden headboards of the beds.
“This is a Milanese hotel, a large apartment, many residences where you can feel at home, with your untouchable corner and total privacy”, Armani is keen to specify. Each room has a small entrance, which protects the view of the interior of the room. Another peculiarity: there is no reception and a “lifestyle manager” takes care of the customers' needs.
And that's not all, because on the 7th floor we find a restaurant, lounge and bar open to the public, while on the 8th floor there is a Spa reserved for customers, with swimming pool, sauna and various cutting-edge treatments.
At the inauguration of the Armani Hotel Milano there was an exceptional parterre, which included stars of the caliber of Jessica Alba and Isabelle Huppert. On the other hand, could it be otherwise?
