The richest women of 2012
Almost all of them have inherited their fortune from relatives and husbands, but they have been able to truthfully carry out their economic empires in the best possible way.
In 1st place we find Christy Walton, who with only 25.3 billion dollars earns the title of richest woman in the world (11th in the overall ranking). She is the widow of the founder of the well-known American megastore chain Wal-Mart, who died following a tragic plane crash.
At the 2nd Liliane Bettencourt (15th overall), in the photo, who for only a billion and a few coins does not earn the record. You have in your hands one of the most important beauty brands in the world: l "Oréal.
Scrolling through the various positions we meet Georgina Rineahrt (about 18 billion dollars) Iris Fontbona (17 billion dollars), Birgit Rausing, who took over Tetra Pak after the death of her husband, and who has 14 billion dollars in her wallet.
Followed by Jacqueline Mars, who, as her surname suggests, heads the sweet snack giant Mars, and Susanna Klatten; both boast assets of around $ 13 billion.
The first Italian woman we meet is in 139th place in the general classification, and it is as expected Miuccia Prada (in the photo on the right), and who certainly needs no introduction. Its assets? Almost $ 7 billion.
