Blond hair: here's how to look after it
Problems with blond hair
First of all they tend to be rather fragile, as well as extremely sensitive to external aggressions: pollution, dust, smoke, limescale .. These agents weaken the hair, which tends to dry out and take on a dull appearance.
How to take care of blond hair?
The shampoo and conditioner
See alsoFor healthy and shiny hair, you need to pay particular attention to the "shampoo" phase. Choose a specific shampoo, which has nourishing and antioxidant properties, preferably based on wheat sprouts and sunflowers. Wash your hair two or three times a week at the most. After applying the shampoo, rinse your hair with warm water, remove excess water and strengthen the action of the shampoo by applying a conditioner from the same range to the tips. Leave on for 5 minutes: in addition to loosening the knots, the conditioner creates a nourishing film that protects the hair fibers.
Rinse first with warm water, then with cold water. For even brighter hair, add a little vinegar or lemon juice to cold water.
Specific products
Once a week replace the shampoo you usually use with a chamomile shampoo: this plant has always been the best ally of blonde hair! If you have dyed or with highlights, choose a repairing shampoo with purple pigments: in addition to nourishing and protecting the hair fiber, it has an anti-yellow action.
The mask
Once or twice a week give your hair a proper hydration treatment. After washing and combing them, remove excess water and apply a nourishing repairing mask. Let it penetrate the entire length of the hair (avoiding the roots) and let it act for at least 10 minutes. The cunning? Wrap a warm towel around your head: the heat will help the product to penetrate the fibers.
Rinse your hair with warm water and then cold water, and pat dry (not rubbing) with a towel.
