1. The essentials at your fingertips
Prepare all the materials so that you have them available. Choose the color of the straws: the necklace can be monochromatic or multicolored, to have a bijoux to wear for every mood.

First, cut the straws. I chose the variant in which the longest part is positioned centrally, gradually climbing to the edges. The center piece is 8 cm long, but can be made to the desired length. The other straws must be one centimeter below, going to scale (from 8 cm, 7 cm, 6 cm, 5 cm and so on).
3. Arrange the elements
I got a total of 9 pieces of straws, a variable number depending on your creativity: now is the time to decide how the final arrangement will be. Leave room for your creativity and imagination: it doesn't have to be regular!
4. Create the necklace!
Passing the chosen thread or ribbon through the needle can be a difficult step. It is therefore important to have a fairly large needle available. You start from the outside of the straws arranged, thus moving to the other end until the ribbon it will not have passed through every single element.
5. Et voila!
To close everything, make a knot that is sliding, to which you can connect a hook for closure. Indulge your imagination: insert beads or studs between the straws!
